It’s easy to fill your mind with thoughts of what could have been or to look at other people’s lives and wish you could have what they have. We all do it and it is so self-defeating and just plain right sucks! We tend to regret things thinking our lives would have been amazing when really our lives could have turned out in disaster. Why are we so quick to only focus on the negatives when it comes to ourselves, but the positives when it comes to what could have been if only we…? I’m telling you to please stop comparing yourself and living in question. There is only one of you and that is more than good enough.

How can you do great things if you’re more concerned with other people? How can you be successful if you look into the mirror with utter disgust? How can you move forward if you’re still thinking about something that’s over? The doors will open, but you have to be looking forward to see them and be thinking kindly of yourself in order to trust walking through them. May you walk with your head held high, your heart full of acceptance and your mind in peace. ~Britt
