LET IT GO. LET YOU BE.
There is a mourning that goes along with letting something go; even when it’s the best and most liberating thing you could possibly let go of. This is how I felt upon releasing my book. I want you all to know that the strongest people have hard days and sad days too.
I am grateful for this new transition in my life and more than anything I know it’s right -it’s my passion. It’s okay to be genuine and you’ll be healthier for it. You don’t have to hide your emotions or fake a smile.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a huge life event that throws you out of whack, or a minor one. Balance is golden and I’ve learned this the hard way throughout my life. Put your oxygen mask on first! Let yourself process and be exactly as you are -don’t numb your feelings or put yourself second.
Growth is powerful and mourning is important. Give yourself space. Let your feelings out. Then pick yourself back up and know you can conquer anything you set your mind to. I’m on this journey with you all. You are never alone. ~Britt
