YOU HAVE CERTAIN CHOICES
I know you’re struggling; I can see you struggling. I want to help, but I can’t. You want me to help, but I can’t. You want anyone to help… someone to make it stop and give you the ability to start over. It’s hopeless (you think). I’ve ruined my life, it’s been too long, and I know no other way of life. So what then? Do you continue forever? Do you continue on miserable reaching out to those far away who share your struggle, but can do nothing? Do you continue on confiding in secret groups to make yourself feel safe and like what your doing is ok?
Stop! You have to and I mean have to trust in something that you can’t see yet. You have to trust that by letting go of your obsession you can be free. You can be happy and you can be accepted. Seek out those who will support you… real and tangible people. Change your routine, take a risk, throw out the scales and get rid of those who support having an eating disorder because really they are supporting your death. You can have any life you desire if only you would be willing to change and embrace fear. ~Britt
